Man Stabbed During Fight, Police Looking for Suspect

The victim was taken to Eden Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

From Pleasanton Police:

On Wednesday, Nov. 14, about 9:00 p.m., Pleasanton Police dispatchers received several 911 calls reporting that a stabbing had just occurred in the apartment complex located at 3819 Vineyard Avenue. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim with a single stab wound to his chest. Initial reports indicate that two men began arguing with each other and started fighting. Sometime during the course of the fight the suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim one time and then fled on foot.

The victim was taken to Eden Hospital for the treatment of his injury, which is non-life threatening. The victim is a 30-year-old male who resides in the City of Livermore.

The suspect is a 33-year-old male. He was described as a hispanic male adult, with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5’-11” tall, 180 pounds, wearing a black shirt or jacket and blue jeans. The suspect is known to the victim. The reason for the fight has not been determined. The investigation is on-going.
