Audio equipment, valued at more than $3,000, was reportedly stolen between Thursday and Sunday from , according to the .
Grand theft of three public-address speakers, a mixer board and a microphone from the long-established business in the Santa Rita Square shopping center was logged Monday with police.
The equipment was the personal property of an Ingram & Brauns music instructor and stored in a practice room, reports show.
The thief, or thieves, apparently zeroed in on the sound-system gear, as other valuable items also in the room were untouched, files state.
There were no signs of forced entry to the establishment, police said.
The missing items are: a $578 black, Behringer speaker; two JBL speakers valued at $899 each; a $500 Mackie mixer board; and a $200 AKG kick-drum microphone, according to police.
The Pleasanton store, on the 3100 block of Santa Rita Road, is one of three locations of Ingram & Brauns. The 27-year-old company operates two Modesto shops, and offers music instruction, along with sales and repair of musical instruments.
