I find it offencive that you concider white a race, this is not the first article that you have done it on. Caucasians cannot call other races by the color of their skin but its okay for you to associate us by it?

Spell Check??
Styler September 12, 2012 at 09:15 PM
Really? This guy is a sexual predator and the race is what you are worried about?
Pleasanton Mom September 13, 2012 at 03:44 PM
I find it offensive that you would post your race comments when the goal here is to catch a sexual predator and keep our daughters, sisters, mothers.....safer. I think I speak for just about everyone when I say no one cares that you're offended by it.

If you're trying to describe someone, don't you think it would be beneficial to know what he looks like.

Lisa's got a point - and I find the Victoria's Secret business model offensive, but good luck with being an offended parent now that they are a Patch banner ad sponsor. Check this little number out... http://www.victoriassecret.com/sleepwear/lingerie/sexy-little-sergeant-sexy-little-things?ProductID=70695&CatalogueType=OLS Nice catalogues and banner ads, guys and gals. Sumit Kumar, a logistics engineer at MIT was so inspired that he wrote his masters thesis about V's Secret business model. Gee, I wish I had been on his thesis review committee. I'd have told him this: Okay, Mr. Smarty Pants MIT Logistics Engineer student and thesis author, Sumit Kumar...Supply Chain Strategies - really? The "underlying dynamics" and "motivation" behind Victoria's Secret sales and catalogue popularity aren't exactly rocket science, no pun intended. Get a grip, Sumit. When I was your age and away at college, the campus police woke everyone on my floor at 3 am as they removed a pervert doing the knuckle shuffle in the girls toilet room with a Victoria's Secret catalogue in his free hand. :) http://dspace.mit.edu/bitstream/handle/1721.1/33324/62314026.pdf

About the race issue, the Crime Stoppers editors provide these and do not want us to change their verbiage, even though Caucasian is the race, not white. On the Victoria Secret issue I have to say that I have not yet seen the banner ads. And I have looked. I am sure Leah is not mistaken. But I have not seen the campaign. I will keep looking.

There are four VS banner ads on my Patch window right now. "New fall dresses" across the top; "New fall dresses" and "fabulous in lace" on the right side; "fabulous in lace" at the bottom. Obnoxious, perhaps, put probably my own fault. My cookies know me so well. ;-) Thank you, Tom!
anthony September 13, 2012 at 05:40 PM
Tom... clear your browser history (all options), got to VS and browse a little and then come back. Shazzam, let your trail do it's magic.
Tom September 13, 2012 at 07:24 PM
Question for Tom. Why do you care what crime stoppers thinks if you believe they are in error? Copy and paste is what passes for reporting?
Leah Hall September 13, 2012 at 08:13 PM
Whew! Thank you, Patch. My Patch page is all clear of V's Secret banner ads. Now where is my hand sanitizer? :)
Tom September 13, 2012 at 08:33 PM
I have no problem with VS, my wife looks quite good in them....
Leah Hall September 13, 2012 at 09:23 PM
Slime I pray thee be gone. Where is that damn hand sanitizer? Here's the rest of the things Tom SHOULDN'T say out loud in Victoria's Secret or on Patch, for that matter: 10 Does this come in children's sizes? 9 No thanks. Just Sniffing. 8 I'll be in the dressing room going blind. 7 Mom will love this. 6 Oh the size won't matter. She's inflatable. 5 No need to wrap it up. I'll eat it here. 4 Will you model this for me??? 3 The Miracle What?? This is better than world peace!! 2 45 bucks?? You're just gonna end up NAKED anyway!! And the number one thing that Tom should have thought about before opening his trap: 1 Oh honey, you'll never squeeze your fat wrinkled ass into that.
Mitzi September 15, 2012 at 01:00 AM
again? the race card? CHILLAX!!! I'm white and I call myself white. I call myself caucasion. Sometimes I call myself ugly. reeeelllllaaaaxxxx!!!!!! All I know is when they say white I KNOW what I'm looking for and THAT IS WHAT MATTERS here. A white, caucasion creep. Or can I say creep?
Californicated1 September 15, 2012 at 01:15 AM
I guess that's why I have "Google Maps" on mine. Sounds like cookies may need to be checked in case I wind up surfing the pages of the Palm Beach Communist Party before going over to Patch.
