Police Seeking Man Who Robbed Arby's Restaurant

The man fled the restaurant and was last seen on foot, according to police officials.

Pleasanton Police officials say that a man robbed the Arby's restaurant at 5900 Owens Drive just after 8 p.m. last night.

According to a statement released by police, "the suspect had entered the business, approached the counter and demanded money. The employee behind the counter became frightened and went to the back of the store. The suspect went behind the counter, removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled."

No weapon or vehicle was seen during the robbery, according to police.

Officers and a police K-9 searched the area for the suspect but were not able to find the man.

The suspect is described as "an unknown race, dark skinned male adult; 19 to 25 years old; 5’5” to 5’8” tall; thin build. He was wearing dark framed sunglasses, a white hooded sweat shirt with multiple colors imprinted on it, and blue jeans."
