Police and Fire Logs: Arrests for Drugs, Thefts, Evading Police

A list of notable incidents from Oct. 3 to Oct. 10.

Arrests reported last week by Pleasanton Police included several on Oct. 7 linked to an early-morning chase of three Stockton residents suspected of stealing catalytic converters.  For more read .

There were also arrests for drug-related offenses, public intoxication and domestic violence throughout the week.

The also dealt with several incidents last week, the biggest of which was a fire in a Blacow Court home on Oct. 7 that was contained within two hours.

Monday, Oct. 10

  • A 22-year-old woman was arrested at 12:38 a.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.
  • A 48-year-old man was arrested at 1:30 a.m. on suspicion of domestic violence.
  • A traffic collision was reported at the intersection of East Stanley Boulevard and Isabel Avenue at 8:27 a.m.

Sunday, Oct. 9

  • Vandalism was reported on the 1200 block of Pineto Place at 11:53 a.m.
  • A 27-year-old woman was arrested at 1:36 p.m. on a warrant.
  • Petty theft was reported on the 6400 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 7:25 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 8

  • A 30-year-old man was arrested at 8:36 p.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A traffic collision involving an overturned vehicle was reported at the merge of I-580 eastbound and I-680 northbound at 8:58 a.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported on I-580 westbound near Hopyard Road at 11:28 a.m.

Friday, Oct. 7

  • Stockton Trio Arrested After Chase:  Pleasanton Police arrested three people after a car and foot chase through city streets and yards.  The trio was suspected of stealing car parts. For more read .
  • A house fire was reported on the 3900 block of Blacow Court at 8 a.m.  Residents evacuated from the single-story home.  Flames were reported in the attic and firefighters contained the blaze within two hours.
  • Petty theft was reported on the 1000 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 3:05 p.m.
  • A traffic collision involving three vehicles was reported on Santa Rita Road near the I-580 exit at 2:08 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 6

  • A traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported on I-580 northbound near Stoneridge Drive at 12:34 a.m.
  • Vehicular burglary was reported on the 300 block of Main Street at 5:08 p.m.
  • A fire was reported in a bathroom of Pleasanton Aquatic Center on the 4400 block of Black Avenue at 9:10 p.m.  The source was found to be a small plastic fire.

Wednesday, Oct. 5

  • Petty theft was reported on the 3600 block of Andrews Drive at 9:59 a.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported on the Hacienda Drive offramp of I-580 eastbound at 10:57 a.m.
  • Vandalism was reported on the 4200 block of Rosewood Drive at 1:06 p.m.

Tuesday, Oct. 4

  • A 20-year-old man was arrested at 3:34 a.m. on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
  • A 28-year-old woman was arrested at 5:44 a.m. on a warrant.
  • A 35-year-old man was arrested at 10:51 a.m. on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

Monday, Oct. 3

  • Smoke was reported coming from a microwave in the staff kitchen at Quarry Lane School on the 3700 block of Boulder Street at 11:56 a.m.
  • Battery was reported on the 1200 block of Ridgewood Road at 6:16 p.m.
  • A 48-year-old man was arrested at 11:42 p.m. on suspicion of domestic violence.
