Police and Fire Logs: Paint Sprayer, Generator, Other Expensive Tools Gone in Thefts

A list of notable incidents from June 6 to June 11.

In the past week, Pleasanton police responded to several burglary reports, including one June 7 in which a $2,000 generator was reported stolen. The next day, other equipment and tools were reported stolen in burglaries, including a car burglary in which a paint sprayer was reported stolen.

Monday, June 6

  • Battery was reported on the 5300 block of Hopyard Road at 12:38 a.m.
  • Residential burglary was reported on the 3600 block of Bingham Court at 9:59 a.m.
  • Vandalism was reported on the 4700 block of Muirwood Drive at 10 a.m.

Tuesday, June 7

  • Vehicular burglary was reported on the 7300 block of Johnson Drive at Dublin San Ramon Services District at 9:59 a.m. A 3,000-watt generator worth $2,000 was reported missing.
  • Petty theft was reported on the 1100 block of Santa Rita Road at 9:52 a.m.
  • A 36-year-old man was arrested at 7:19 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.

Wednesday, June 8

  • Vehicular burglary was reported on the 4200 block of Mirador Drive at 7:55 a.m.  Tools worth more than $800 were reported missing.
  • Residential burglary was reported on the 2000 block of Palmer Drive at 10:54 a.m.  A road bike worth $1,000 was reported missing.
  • Vehicular burglary was reported on the 6000 block of Johnson Drive at 3:09 p.m.  The owner believed the theft had occurred June 2.  A Red Titan paint sprayer worth $1,000 was reported missing.
  • A 28-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were arrested at 6:46 p.m. on charges of petty theft.

Thursday, June 9

  • A 22-year-old man was arrested at 2:18 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
  • Public intoxication was reported at the intersection of North Glacier Court and Valley Trails Drive at 2:44 a.m. This also is the site of park vandalism this weekend.
  • A 46-year-old woman was arrested at 3 p.m. on charges of petty theft.
  • Petty theft was reported on the 4500 block of Rosewood Drive at 9:21 p.m.

Friday, June 10

  • Battery was reported on the 3800 block of Vineyard Avenue at 1:05 a.m.
  • A 57-year-old man was arrested at 5:24 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
  • A 21-year-old woman was arrested at 7:47 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
  • A 51-year-old woman was arrested at 10:47 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
  • A 25-year-old man was arrested at 11:42 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

Saturday, June 11

  • A 27-year-old man was arrested at 12:55 a.m. on charges of public intoxication and vandalism.
  • A 37-year-old man was arrested at 5:45 p.m. on a charge of battery.
  • A 30-year-old man was arrested at 7:56 p.m. on a charge of domestic violence.
  • Vehicular burglary was reported on the 4500 block of Rosewood Drive at 10:18 p.m.
