Police and Fire Logs: Robbery at First Street Gas Station; Police Make Arrest in 1984 Homicide
A list of notable incidents from Aug. 1 to Aug. 7.
On Friday, police responded to a report of a robbery at the Shell gas station on First Street.
Employees reported $900 in cash was taken. Another incident reported that day involved a vehicle on Denker Drive that was burglarized and its catalytic converter stolen. On Wednesday, a computer worth thousands of dollars was reported stolen in a theft from the Lexus dealership on Rosewood Drive.

Monday, Aug. 1
- A 22-year-old man was arrested at 1:46 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
- A 29-year-old woman was arrested at 4:31 p.m. on a charge of driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent.
- A 48-year-old woman was arrested at 4:46 p.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.

- Vandalism was reported on the 4100 block of Garatti Court at 7:04 a.m.
- A 51-year-old man was arrested at 6:01 p.m. on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Wednesday, Aug. 3
- A 24-year-old man was arrested at 1:06 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
- Vehicular burglary was reported on the 7000 block of Main Street at 11:13 a.m. A camera and camera equipment worth more than $275 were stolen.
- Expensive computer stolen from dealership: Vehicular burglary was reported at the on the 4300 block of Rosewood Drive at 12:11 p.m. A Motorola brand mini-computer and equipment worth more than $8,000 were stolen.
- A collision involving an overturned vehicle was reported at the merge of I-580 eastbound and I-680 southbound at 3:36 p.m.
- A collision involving five vehicles was reported on I-680 near Bernal Avenue at 6:09 p.m.
- A pile of leaves was on fire in the center median at the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard and Santa Rita Road at 6:24 p.m.
- A 24-year-old man was arrested at 10:24 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
Thursday, Aug. 4
- An 18-year-old woman was arrested at 12:12 a.m. on a charge of embezzlement.
- A 23-year-old woman was arrested at 12:42 a.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
- A 43-year-old man was arrested at 12:05 p.m. on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
- Theft was reported on the 4300 block of Addison Way at 12:15 p.m. Jewelry, cash, electronics and prescription narcotics worth more than $2,000 were stolen.
Friday, Aug. 5
- A 37-year-old man was arrested at 12:10 a.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
- Vehicular burglary was reported on the 4500 block of Denker Drive at 1 p.m. A catalytic converter worth $500 was stolen.
- A collision involving an overturned vehicle was reported at the intersection of Vallecitos Road and Isabel Avenue at 2:57 p.m.
- A vehicle fire was reported on the 2500 block of Stanley Boulevard at 5:33 p.m.
- A 52-year-old woman was arrested at 8:52 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
- Gas station robbery: A robbery was reported at the station on the 4200 block of First Street at 9:33 p.m. and $900 in cash was stolen.
- A 45-year-old woman was arrested at 11:28 p.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.
- A 42-year-old man was arrested at 11:50 p.m. on a charge of public intoxication.
Saturday, Aug. 6
- Battery was reported on the 7800 block of Flagstone Drive at 12:03 a.m.
- A collision involving a bicycle was reported on the 400 block of Vineyard Avenue at 11:39 a.m.
- Vandalism was reported on the 3300 block of Busch Road at 11:44 a.m.
- A 40-year-old woman was arrested at 12:22 p.m. on a charge of domestic violence.
- Fraud was reported on the 800 block of Rose Avenue at 2:07 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 7
- Reckless driving was reported on the 5300 block of Hopyard Road at 4:55 a.m.
- Vehicular burglary was reported on the 7000 block of Johnson Drive at 6:27 p.m.
