Police and Fire Logs: TVs Taken from Homes; Cigarette Fire Damages Home and Kills Dog

A list of notable incidents from Aug. 29 to Sept. 5.

Last week, two residential burglaries were reported on Tuesday evening. 

LCD televisions were among the items reported stolen from a home on Annis Circle and another on Muirwood Drive. 

Other items were also reported missing from the Annis Circle home.

Monday, Sept. 5

  • A 32-year-old man was arrested at 12:49 a.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.
  • A traffic collision involving an overturned vehicle was reported at the merge of I-580 westbound and I-680 southbound at 10:58 a.m. 
  • A traffic collision was reported at Safeway, Inc. in the 11500 block of Dublin Canyon Road at 4:23 p.m.
  • A traffic collision involving a motorcycle was reported on I-580 westbound near Hopyard Road at 5:13 p.m.
  • A traffic collision involving several vehicles was reported at the merge of I-580 eastbound and I-680 northbound at 6:39 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 4

  • A 31-year-old woman was arrested at 1:08 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Saturday, Sept. 3

  • A 52-year-old woman was arrested at 12:03 a.m. on suspicion of domestic violence.
  • A 23-year-old man was arrested at 1:26 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence.
  • A 20-year-old man was arrested at 2 a.m. on suspicion of driving under the influence.
  • Vandalism was reported on the 4500 block of Rosewood Drive at 10:55 a.m.

Friday, Sept. 2

  • A traffic collision was reported on I-580 eastbound near Foothill Road at 9:40 a.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported at the intersection of Santa Rita Road and Pimlico Drive at 10:39 a.m.
  • Theft was reported at Pak Mail on the 5400 block of Sunol Boulevard at 11:20 a.m.  A laptop worth $850 was reported stolen.
  • A traffic collision involving a vehicle going down an embankment was reported on I-580 southbound near Sunol Boulevard at 8:37 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 1

  • A traffic collision was reported at the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and West Las Positas Boulevard at 4:31 p.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported at McDonalds on the 3000 block of Bernal Avenue at 6 p.m.
  • Theft was reported on the 300 block of Saint Mary Street at 10:40 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

  • A black 1995 two-door Acura Integra was reported stolen from the intersection of Kamp Drive and Poppybank Court at 10:04 a.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported at the intersection of Foothill Road and Equus Court at 3 p.m.
  • A fire was reported on the 2800 block of Curry Street at about 4:30 p.m. and was contained within two and a half hours. For more read .

Tuesday, Aug. 30

  • A traffic collision was reported on I-680 northbound near Stoneridge Drive at 12:34 a.m.
  • Residential burglary was reported on the 3600 block of Annis Circle at 5:02 p.m.  A set of sterling silver necklaces and earrings worth $75 were reported stolen along with electronics, including an LCD television, DVD player and Kojak DVD collection, worth a total of $1,000.
  • Residential burglary was reported on the 4500 block of Muirwood Drive at 6:49 p.m.  An LCD television worth about $600 was reported stolen.

Monday, Aug. 29

  • A traffic collision involving a pedestrian was reported at the BART station on the 5800 block of Owens Drive at 8:11 a.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported on I-580 westbound near Hopyard Road at 8:53 a.m.
  • A traffic collision was reported at Pleasanton Sports Park on the 5800 block of Parkside Drive at 12:59 p.m.
