Police Investigate Stabbing on Vineyard Avenue

Victim arrived at Valley Care with injury; no arrests yet

Police are investigating a stabbing incident they believe occurred yesterday night at a home on Vineyard Avenue.

The Pleasanton Police Department received several reports of a disturbance at residence on the 3800 block on June 20 at 5:39 p.m.  Subjects reported sounds of yelling and bottles breaking.  Officers responded to the area within four minutes but found no suspects or victims in the area, according to a department release.

At 6:01 p.m., an 18-year-old man from Tracy arrived at Valley Care Medical Center with a non-life threatening stab wound.  The victim later confirmed to police that the stabbing occurred at the scene, according to the release.
