Police Investigating Stabbing Outside Liquor Store

Man sustains minor injuries; reports two attackers.

A man reported that he was stabbed Sunday night outside a Pleasanton liquor store after a fight with two men.

Officers were dispatched to Valley Care Medical Center around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to meet with the stabbing victim, who reported he was purchasing cigarettes at Perry's Liquors on the 4300 block of Valley Avenue when he got into a fight with two Latino men. The victim reported that he fled the area and discovered on his way home that he was bleeding from a stab wound. The man sought treatment at Valley Care Medical Center.

The victim described two attackers, both Latino men in their early 20s: one about 6 feet 3 inches tall with heavy build, about 250 pounds, and wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans; and the other had a clean-shaven face and was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with medium build, about 180 pounds, with short black hair and wearing a red t-shirt and dark blue jeans.
