Police Log: April 5 to April 11

A list of notable incidents from the weekly Pleasanton Police Department blotter.

Last week, the police arrested Robert Magoon, 50, of Pleasanton for suspicion of running a methamphetamine lab at an E. Angela St. home. Also last week, police investigated a burglary that occured early morning on April 10, where three suspects attempted to steal money from a liquor store's ATM by crashing into the establishment and tying a rope around the machine.

Police are still looking for the three suspects.

April 5

  • Burglary, Foothill High School,  food items of unknown amount were taken from the Snack Shack

April 6 

  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 2700 block of Hartley Gate Ct., electronics were among the items taken.
  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 11900 block of Dublin Canyon Rd., items taken included credit cards, debit cards and electronics.  
  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 5700 block of Owens Dr.

April 7

  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 1300 block of Hopyard Rd. 
  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 4800 block of Bernal Ave.

April 8

  • Burglary, residential, 4800 block of Bernal Ave. 
  • Burglary, residential, 1700 block of Baywood Ct.

April 10

  • Burglary, commercial, 5600 block of Stoneridge Dr. Police are still looking for three suspects who crashed a large white van into a Food & Beverage liquor store early Saturday morning. The suspects attempted to take the store's ATM machine by tying a rope around it. Police later pursued the suspects on I-580 and later discovered the van abandoned. Damages to the store are estimated to be anywhere between $50,000 to $60,000 dollars. 
  • Burglary, other, 4400 Valley Ave., items taken included electronics and other miscellaneous items.
  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 3900 Vineyard Ave., items taken included auto parts.
  • Theft shoplifting, Stoneridge Mall, Abercrombie and Fitch, items taken included perfume and cologne
  • Theft burglary from an automobile, 4300 block of Valley Ave.
