Police Log: Kids Robbed Of 'Noisy' Balls; $3K Swiped From Cancer Docs; Knife At Foothill Game

Notable incidents encountered Sept. 23 to 29.

A 54-year-old Pleasanton man was arrested on alleged robbery charges Thursday evening after taking basketballs from three juveniles who were shooting hoops near his apartment complex, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

The boys, ages 12, 10 and 8, told officers the man was annoyed by their game and at about 7:30 p.m. forcibly took a ball from one of the boys.

He then took the kids' two remaining basketballs and left, the boys added.
