Police Log: More Tire Stabbings, Plus Brass and Copper Thefts

Notable incidents encountered June 3 to 9.

Sometime overnight Thursday to Friday morning, tires were punctured on three vehicles on Stoneridge Mall Road, according to the

The left-side front and rear tires were stabbed on all three cars parked at the Stoneridge Apartment Community, police said.

Police report no witnesses and no suspects in last week's cases.

In other area news, it was lucrative metal that attracted burglars and thieves.

On June 4, burglars apparently pried open the rear door of a Chabot Drive office building, making off with $1,000 of copper piping and $50 of copper wire, reports state.

And on June 3, brass fire-valve caps, valued at nearly $1,000, were stolen from a hotel on the 5500 block of Johnson Drive.

Saturday, June 9

  • Warrant arrest made 2:58 a.m. on Hopyard Road at West Las Positas Boulevard.
  • Car break-in logged 9:02 a.m. on 4400 Holland Drive.
  • Vandalism cited at 6:56 a.m. along 4800 Woodthrush Road.
  • Battery reported at 6:55 p.m. on the 6100 block of Homer Court.
  • Domestic assault reported 8:44 p.m. along 2800 Victoria Ridge Court.
  • Driving under the influence arrest made of a female, 25, at 2:54 a.m. on 3900 Valley Avenue.
  • Public intoxication arrest made at 8:54 p.m. on 4200 Valley Avenue.
  • Protective-order violation reported 9:28 a.m. along 3100 Half Dome Drive.

Friday, June 8

  • Suspected drunk-and-disorderly arrest made of a Pleasanton man at 3:04 p.m. along 6100 West Las Positas Boulevard.
  • Thefts cited at 7:38 p.m. and 7:44 p.m. on the 1000 and 1500 blocks of Stoneridge Mall Road.
  • K-9 search and arrest at 5:15 p.m. on 2900 Hopyard Road for suspected drug-paraphernalia possession.
  • Warrant arrests made: 1:35 p.m. on 4500 Rosewood Drive; 10:33 p.m. on 200 Main Street; 11:14 p.m. on 5100 Hopyard Road.
  • Felony vandalism logged on the 6200 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 9:53 a.m., 10:21 a.m. and 10:23 a.m.
  • DUI reported at 1:46 a.m. on Francisco Street at Santa Rita Road.

Thursday, June 7

  • Vandalism logged at 7:54 a.m. on 4300 Black Avenue.
  • Identity theft reported: 3:03 a.m. on Black Avenue at Santa Rita Road; and on 8500 Lupine Court at 5:12 p.m.
  • Theft cited at 11:28 a.m. along 800 Division Street.
  • DUIs reported: 1:13 a.m. on 1800 Crestline Road; 1:55 a.m. on 4300 First Street.

Wednesday, June 6

  • Pleasanton Police Department found May 24 in trash can on Dublin Canyon Road.
  • Warrant arrests made: 2:12 a.m. on 1700 Santa Rita Road; 8:37 p.m. on 1900 Brooktree Way.
  • Battery reported at 9:47 p.m. along 200 Spring Street.
  • Four drunk-and-disorderly arrests made: 1:23 a.m. on 3000 Hopyard Road; 11:32 a.m. on 2500 Hopyard; Muirwood Drive at Foothill Road at 11:03 p.m.; and 11:24 p.m. on 300 St. Mary Street.
  • Double arrest by of two Pleasanton men at 4:55 p.m. on 1 Stoneridge Mall Road: a 19-year-old for suspected possession to sell controlled substances; and a man, 21, for a bench warrant.
  • Theft logged 9:39 p.m. on 1300 Stoneridge Mall Road.

Tuesday, June 5

  • Burglary and theft reported at 5:30 p.m. on 5300 Sonoma Drive.
  • Animal bite logged along 5800 Parkside Drive at 8:14 p.m.
  • DUI recorded at 4:20 a.m. on Northway Road at Valley Avenue.
  • Identity theft logged at 1:25 a.m. on 5900 Stoneridge Mall Road.

Monday, June 4

  • Vehicle reported stolen at 7:20 a.m. on 7700 Canyon Meadows Circle.
  • Another stolen vehicle, a silver 2000 Ford van, reported at 9:13 a.m. on 5600 Owens Drive.
  • Burglary calls included: 9:39 a.m. on 4700 Chabot Drive; 11:09 a.m. on 5000 Johnson Drive; and 1:40 p.m. along 7400 Highland Oaks Drive.Β 
  • House fire at 11:15 a.m. on Benner Court.
  • Theft logged at 5:53 p.m. on 1500 Stoneridge Mall Road.

Sunday, June 3

  • Motorcycle reported stolen at 3:45 p.m. on the 4900 block of Pleasanton Avenue, one of at Goodguys car show.
  • Theft of $990 of brass fire-valve caps reported at 12:50 p.m. from a hotel on 5500 Johnson Drive.
  • A Pleasanton male, 21, was arrested at 1:17 a.m. on Valley Avenue at Northway Road for alleged loitering and possession of burglary tools.
  • Stolen vehicle recovered at 3:21 p.m. along 5800 Owens Drive.
  • DUI arrest made of a Livermore man, 26, at 1:06 a.m. on Jensen Street at Santa Rita Road.
  • A Pleasanton woman, 21, was arrested for suspected public intoxication at 1:54 a.m. along 4300 First Street.
  • A man was arrested for alleged possession of burglary tools along 2300 Santa Rita Road at 10:22 p.m.
  • Car break-in logged 6:36 p.m. on 7000 Johnson Drive.
