Police are searching for two men who they say robbed Express Liquors
this morning. According to a statement released by police, the robbery was reported just before 7 a.m.

Details provided by Pleasanton Police—

On March 3, at 6:58 a.m. Pleasanton Police officers responded to an armed robbery at the Express Liquors on 4363 First Street.

Two adult males, both estimated to be in their early to mid-20s, entered the business and demanded the clerk turn over to them the money from the cash registers, as well as his personal wallet and cell phone.

Upon leaving less than a minute later, they fled west (away from First Street) on foot and vaulted a chain link fence into the north parking lot of the Firehouse Arts Center on Railroad Avenue.  At this point it is presumed the two suspects got into an awaiting vehicle and vanished.

Both suspects are described as having been of average build and size.  Suspect 1 was believed to have been a Caucasian or light-skinned Hispanic, wearing a light gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He appears to have had a dark-colored or “blued” handgun; Suspect 2 was a Hispanic male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, brandishing a silver-colored handgun.  No vehicle was seen.

Several officers and detectives responded to assist with this investigation, establishing perimeters, searching the area, reviewing surveillance footage and collecting material evidence.
