Information provided by Pleasanton Police Nixle Alerts at 10:22 a.m.

On 12-03-13, a residential burglary occurred in the city of Pleasanton at the Civic Square Apartment community located on Bernal Ave. The victim arrived home and was confronted by the male suspect inside the apartment. The suspect placed his right hand under his jacket and indicated he was in possession of a handgun. The suspect stated, “Don’t call anyone or I’ll kill you.” The suspect then ran out of the apartment. Stolen from the residence was cash and jewelry. The victim was not injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male between 35 to 40 years of age, about 5’10” with a thin build, brown hair pulled back in a ponytail, light color eyes, and a thin mustache and goatee. He was wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. The suspect’s voice was described as “smokey”.

Due to the facts surrounding how the crime was committed, we believe this suspect may be responsible for several other burglaries at Civic Square Apartments and other apartment communities in the city.

The above image is a sketch artist’s rendering of the suspect.
