Original story—

Police are asking for the public's help finding a runaway teen who is considered an "at risk" missing juvenile. Raymond Wayne Thorstenson, 15, was last seen by his legal guardian on Feb. 16 around 3 p.m. after police say he refused to attend a family function.

According to police officials, the disagreement led to Thorstenson to hold a knife and make statements that he would harm himself. Thorstenson left the home and has not been seen since.

Thorstenson, who suffers from multiple mental health issues and has not had access to his prescribed medication since he was last seen, may be in Pleasanton or Livermore. The last time Thorstenson was seen in Livermore was by a friend on Friday morning.

Thorstenson is known to frequent skate parks in both cities. Police describe Thorstenson as being 5’10” tall, 155 pounds, with brown hair, and green eyes. He has large-gauge ear lobe rings and a piercing on his left eyebrow. He has multiple tattoos including the number “13” on his left hand.
Anybody with information about Thorstenson’s location is asked to contact the Pleasanton Police Department at (925) 931-5100.
