In a scuffle that caught the attention of gossiphounds at TMZ, comedian Eddie Griffin had a drink tossed at him while performing Friday night in Pleasanton, and reportedly, retaliated with the same.
Griffin, a stand-up comic and actor, best known for his sitcom "Malcom & Eddie," was onstage at when a woman in the audience threw her drink at him, according to TMZ reports.
Griffin, in turn, emptied his water bottle on her, TMZ reported.
The was called, but club security had already ejected the woman from the scene, TMZ said.
The comedy club then closed for the night, and no arrests were made, the network reported.
