Jump Start Leads to Vehicle Fire: A 24-foot motor home parked behind the Chase Bank on Main Street caught fire around 8:13 p.m. on Sunday night. The owner of the motor home had been trying to jump-start his dead battery when the motor home caught fire. The fire fighters of the Livermore Pleasanton Fire Department were able to extinguish the fire and no one was injured during the incident.
Suspected sexual abuse in boy scouts' files: There are 24 cases of possible sexual abuse in 14 East Bay communities by Boy Scout troop leaders and volunteers listed in the organization's sexual abuse files released Thursday to the public.
