Week in Review: Unsafe Home, Fire at Rancho Grande Taqueria, Bank Robbery Arrest, Services for Patricia Martin

Patricia Martin Services: Patricia Martin was identified this week by school officials as the girl found dead in a motel room in Newark on September 14. Martin's mother, Kathleen Martin, asked the community to wear pink on Monday to honor her daughter. Services for Martin are on Saturday at Graham Hitch Funeral home in Pleasanton.

Unsafe home on Orangewood: Three people were taken from a home on Orangewood Court on Sunday evening after police were called about suspicious activity. The home, which has been red tagged by city officials as unsafe, was checked by the Drug Enforcement Agency on Monday due to strong chemical orders on and near the property. Parolee arrested for BofA robbery: 59-year-old Royland Rice of Oakland was arrested on September 19 by Pleasanton Police for allegedly robbing the Bank of America on Stoneridge Drive on September 11. Rice is on federal parole for robbery.

Fire at Rancho Grande Taqueria: And early morning fire that may have started in the kitchen of Rancho Grande Taqueria, knocked out the power to all of the businesses in the Gene's Fine Food's shopping center.

Mike Harris Pulls out of City Council Race: City council candidate, announced via email that he was withdrawing from the race due citing "personal reasons."
