Police Log: Stick-Up at Gold Chopsticks; Burst of Car Break-Ins

Notable incidents from Nov. 29 to Dec. 5.

The Pleasanton Police Department reported an armed robbery late Saturday at a Chinese restaurant on Santa Rita Road, plus a spate of auto break-ins.

Tuesday, Nov. 29

* A 24-year-old woman from Pleasanton was arrested on suspicion of petty theft.

Wednesday, Nov. 30

* A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at 11:38 p.m.

Thursday, Dec. 1

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 1000 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 7:24 p.m. The car door was reportedly pried open.

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 1000 block of Serpentine Lane at 7:38 p.m. A car window was reportedly smashed.

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 3000 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 7:49 p.m.

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 5900 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 3:45 p.m.

* Vehicular burglary was reported at 6:08 p.m. on the 3000 block of Stoneridge Mall Road.

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 1000 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 6:20 p.m. The car's windows were reportedly smashed and electronics gear was taken.

* Theft of a burgundy 1994 Honda Accord wagon was reported on the 7400 block of Stonedale Drive at 8:26 a.m.

* Theft of a purple 1997 Honda Accord sedan was reported on the 3900 block of Stoneridge Drive at 8:26 a.m. 

* A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were arrested at the Stoneridge Mall area on suspicion of possessing stolen property.

Friday, Dec. 2

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 5900 block of Stoneridge Mall Road at 12:13 p.m.

* A 23-year-old man was arrested at 4:15 p.m. on the 7500 block of Driftwood Way on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and probation violations.

* A 44-year-old man was arrested on the 500 block of Main Street at 8:29 p.m. on suspicion of public intoxication and parole violations.

Saturday, Dec. 3

* The Chinese restaurant Gold Chopsticks, on the 3100 block of Santa Rita Road, reported a robbery by an unidentified man with a weapon at 9:40 p.m. No suspects have been arrested.    

* A 24-year-old man was arrested at 1:26 a.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 700 block of Bonde Court at 2:46 p.m.

Sunday, Dec. 4

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 9500 block of MacDonald Court at 3:12 a.m.

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 9600 block of Crosby Drive at 3:59 a.m. 

* Vehicular burglary was reported on the 3600 block of West Las Positas Boulevard at 8:39 a.m.

Monday, Dec. 5

* A 27-year-old man was arrested on the 4300 block of Second Street at 12:24 a.m. on suspicion of public intoxication.
