Car Hits Pole, Knocks Power Out

Power is out at golf course and other spots.

A car hit a power pole on at Sunol Boulevard and Arlington Drive in Pleasanton this afternoon, according to a city spokesperson.

As a result, power is currently out at several public facilities including , at 200 Old Bernal Avenue, 157 Main Street, and the at 5353 Sunol Boulevard, Joanne Hall said.

As of 4 p.m., PG&E anticipated that it would take at least an hour to restore power to the affected area.
