City Hosting Annual Transit Fair, Corned Beef Meal on St. Patrick's Day

The free event will be held at the Pleasanton Senior Center. Reservations for the traditional corned beef and cabbage lunch are required. Cost for lunch is $6 for adults and $3.75 for seniors.

The City of Pleasanton will host the 9th Annual Transit Fair in the main lobby of the Pleasanton Senior Center on Monday, March 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This free event is open to the public and will feature representatives from local transit agencies such as WHEELS, Pleasanton Paratransit Service, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the ACE train to share information on transportation options. A BART representative will also be on hand to sell Clipper cards and interested buyers are reminded to bring proof of age for the purchase of a Senior Clipper card.

The Pleasanton Senior Center also sells a variety of local transportation tickets on-site including Wheels-Dial-a-Ride tickets, monthly Wheels passes, Pleasanton Paratransit tickets, and Wheels Fairbuster tickets.

The Pleasanton Senior Center’s ‘Snappy Café’ will offer a St. Patrick’s Day meal of corned beef and cabbage at the low price of $6 for adults and $3.75 for seniors. Paid reservations must be made by 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 12.
