City of Pleasanton: Election Nomination Period Begins on July 14
The nomination period closes on August 8.
The City of Pleasanton reports that the nomination period for Municipal Officers in the upcoming General Municipal Election begins on Monday, July 14, 2014 and closes on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.
Pleasanton residents will vote for a Mayor and two members of the City Council in the election, which coincides with the Presidential Election scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
The full term for the Mayor is two years, while Council members serve four-year terms.
