Smoke Alarms: A Sound You Can Live With - Open House

The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department (LPFD) is joining with the national Fire Protection Association in promoting "Smoke Alarms: A Sound You Can Live With!" as the theme for this year's Fire Prevention month campaign in October.

LPFD will be supporting "Smoke Alarms: A Sound You Can Live With!" by inviting the Public to visit their neighborhood Fire Station from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for an open house.

Everyone is welcome to meet the fire fighters, fire department staff, take a tour of the station and fire apparatus. In addition, at selected stations, smoke detectors, batteries, home fire inspection checklists and other safety-related material will be available in order to educate our communities about smoke alarms and general fire safety.
