The program will be held in the large meeting room of the Pleasanton Public Library, 400 Old Bernal Avenue, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The City of Pleasanton continues the 2014 free Parent Education Series on Wednesday, April 23 with “The Wonder Years: Transition to Middle School” presented by On the Edge of Coaching, which provides life coaching for individuals, couples, families and those in the midst of life transitions.

The program will be held in the large meeting room of the Pleasanton Public Library, 400 Old Bernal Avenue, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The presentation will cover some basic issues that all middle-schoolers or “tweens” may anticipate and struggle with during these transitional years. They begin with the initial acclimation issues and then follow with the ongoing, somewhat more challenging issues that include body image, conflicts, and friendships.
