Last of Free Parenting Series: 'I’m Talking But They’re Not Listening'

The presentation will be held on May 28 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Pleasanton Public Library

The City of Pleasanton wraps up the 2014 free Parent Education Series on Wednesday, May 28 with “I’m Talking But They’re Not Listening” presented by Certified Parent Coach Rachel Sklar. The program will be held in the large meeting room of the Pleasanton Public Library, 400 Old Bernal Avenue, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The seminar will provide specific communication tools that parents can use to improve their child’s ability to listen to, understand, and respond to requests. Parents will also learn how to react when children do not follow directions or understand limits, and how to prevent anger and frustration from derailing effective communication and discipline.
