Measure E Election: Voter Registration Deadline is April 18

If you want to cast a ballot on Measure E, a proposed parcel tax to help fund Pleasanton's public schools, you need to be a registered voter.

If you want to vote in the Pleasanton Unified School District's special , you have to be registered to vote in Alameda County.

The registration deadline for this election is Monday, April 18, according to the Alameda County Registrar.

To be eligible, you must be a citizen, at least 18 years old and not in prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony.

Voter registration affidavits are available at the Registrar of Voters office in Oakland and at local , fire stations and post offices.  You may also download and complete the registration form on the county registrar's website

Completed affidavits must be delivered to the Registrar of Voters office, 1225 Fallon St., Room G-1, Oakland, CA 94612 or postmarked by April 18th to be valid for this election.
