Pleasanton Candidates Answer Questions on Development, Affordable Housing

Pleasanton city council and mayoral candidates met at Pleasanton Gardens Monday night for a public forum.

The economy, stalled development projects and affordable senior housing  took center stage during a candidate forum at Pleasanton Gardens Monday night.

City Council and Mayoral candidates for this year's November elections met for the first time to discuss their positions on a variety of issues.

Questions from moderator Tim Hunt focused on the lengthy battles around development projects in the city. Lack of affordable housing especially for low-income seniors was also discussed.
