Pleasanton City Council to Consider Agreement with Police Union Tonight

Meeting is at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 200 Old Bernal Ave.

The Pleasanton City Council will consider a tentative agreement with its police officers union at a special meeting tonight.

The city's current agreement with the union expires today, and around 30 police officers are expected to attend tonight's meeting to urge approval of the new agreement.

According to the union, the agreement calls for an increase in the amount officers would contribute to their pension plan so that future police services will not be cut.

The meeting is taking place at 6 p.m. at 200 Old Bernal Ave.
