Pleasanton Vote-By-Mail City Council Election Begins

Residents have until May 7 to mail-in their ballot for the Pleasanton City Council Election.

It's election time in Pleasanton, as residents received their vote-by-mail ballots this week for the special election for Pleasanton City Council.

The seat opened up last November, when city councilman Jerry Thorne won his election for Mayor. Olivia Sanwong, David Miller, Mark Hamilton and Kathy Narum are all vying for the open seat.

The last day to register to vote for the election is April 22, and residents have until May 7 to mail-in their ballot. The vote-by-mail election
