Homeowners should get the tax bill in the mail by Saturday to avoid a late fee.

If you want to avoid a late fee on your spring property tax bill, you better have the envelope in the mail Saturday.

The deadline for the semi-annual tax is April 10. Since that date falls on a Sunday, mail dropped off on that day probably will receive an April 11 postmark.
