Roadway Resurfacing Begins End of July

The resurfacing will start on July 29 for Stoneridge Drive and Vineyard Avenue. Lanes will be closed and traffic delays are possible but the roads will stay open during the repairs, according to the City of Pleasanton.

Information from the City of Pleasanton--

The City of Pleasanton engineering division reports that roadway resurfacing is scheduled on two city streets beginning July 29, 2013. The streets are Stoneridge Drive between Santa Rita Road and Trevor Parkway, and Vineyard Avenue between First Street and Bernal Avenue. Traffic on both streets will remain open during construction and traffic delays are expected as some lane closure is necessary.

The work includes pavement repair, pavement surface milling/grinding, traffic detection loop installation, a new layer of asphalt concrete, utility box adjustment, striping and more. The major roadway construction operations such as pavement milling and overlay are expected to be completed by August 27, 2013. The entire project is anticipated to be completed by September 15, 2013.
