The City of Pleasanton has partnered with the cities of San Ramon and Dublin and the Dublin/San Ramon Women’s Club to present a Teen Job and Career Fair on Saturday, March 2, 2013. This free event will take place from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Dougherty Station Community Center located at 17011 Bollinger Canyon Road in San Ramon.
Teens ages 14 through 18 will have the opportunity to meet with employers and attend a series of workshops on Managing Finances; Social Networking and Use of Media; Job Search, Research, and Applications Process; Interview Techniques; How to Be a Great Volunteer; and Resume Development.
The event will also feature mock interviews and opportunities for students to meet and talk with professionals from a wide variety of fields. Employment opportunities are also available through local organizations and businesses.
