Handguns Used in Attempted Robbery on Santa Rita Road

Police are seeking two men that pointed handguns at employees in an attempted robbery at the New York Pizza and Pasta and Taco Bell on the 4000 block of Santa Rita Road Tuesday night. See the surveillance photos here.

Pleasanton Unified Announces 'Teacher of the Year'

Christie Carnahan of Valley View Elementary School has been named Teacher of the Year. Carnahanhas been with the Pleasanton Unified School District for 17 years.
