Former Pleasanton Couple Dead in North Carolina in Apparent Murder-Suicide

Authorities in North Carolina say They left behind three children. Amber Seymore went to high school in Danville, worked in Pleasanton and lived in Livermore. Seymore and her husband, Robert Seymore, a retired BART officer lived in the Tri-Valley before moving to North Carolina. Amber's friends are posting their memories about her online.

High School to Allow Banned Yearbook Photo

Kenton Koos' senior yearbook photo will be allowed into the Amador Valley High School yearbook. The photo had been initially refused by the school administration when they saw that Koos was sporting a large face tattoo and nose ring. Koos went to the media over the incident and was eventually told the photo would be allowed. The Pleasanton Unified School District said it was part of Koos' "freedom of expression" since it was not "profane, sexual or racial." Saying Goodbye to Steven Starrett

Dublin is mourning the loss of 18-year-old Steven Starrett, who graduated from Dublin High School in 2012. Starrett died on Nov. 30. Details of his death have not been released. See what people have been saying about the loss of Starrett online. His funeral services were held on Saturday. Over 600 white ribbons have been hung all over the city- many in honor of Starrett. The ribbon movement was started by Dublin resident, Colleen Pearson, who said she started the white ribbon idea to support all in Dublin who are suffering.

Pleasanton City Councilmembers Sworn In

Jerry Thorne, Jerry Pentin and Karla Brown took the Oath of Office during the city council meeting on Tuesday night. Outgoing Councilmembers Cindy McGovern and Matt Sullivan were recognized for their service.

Hometown Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting

Pleasanton's annual holiday parade and tree lighting stayed ahead of the wet weather on Dec 1. Over 90 entries traveled down Main Street. The night wrapped up with a tree lighting in front of the Museum on Main. Click here to see video of the lighting and fun photos of the parade. See anyone you know in these pictures?

Video: Porch Prowler

A Livermore woman caught a prowler on her porch on video during the early hours of the morning on Dec. 5. Sara Admundson, who lives in the 1700 block of Walnut Street, says her house has been regularly visited by a prowler since she moved in on Oct. 1. Watch the video here.

The Geminid Meteor Shower is coming and will peak overnight on Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, and you may be able to see a great show on either side of those dates. Will you be watching?
