Week in Review: Pedestrian Killed on I-680 Identified, Dispatcher Arrested, Pirates of Emerson and Castlewood

Some of the stories that made news this past week in Pleasanton.

Pedestrian killed: A man was killed on Interstate 680 early Monday morning. Investigators are still trying to figure out why the man, later identified as , was on the freeway.

Dispatcher arrested: , was arrested this week after an investigation and search warrant turned up "illegal narcotics and drug paraphernalia." Feathers was placed on administrative leave and arrested. She was booked into Santa Rita County Jail in Dublin.

Pirates of Emerson:
Feeling the need for fear? Look no further than the Alameda County Fairgrounds where, for the third year in a row, visitors can feed the need for spine-tingling terror. The Pirates of Emerson opened on Friday and will be open through Halloween. Read more about where Pirates of Emerson got their name twenty-one years ago.

Castlewood dispute: 61 workers are going back to work after more than 55 months of being locked-out from Castlewood Country Club after contact disputes. The workers will be working under the old contract as the dispute is still being resolved.
