Dublin Eighth-Grader Spends Holiday in Haiti Building Orphanage


Marcus Elola, 14, and his father, Michael Elola, are in Haiti with two humanitarian groups giving the gift of hope and shelter to the local children. The father-son duo will help to build an orphanage. Read the full story here.

Eric Swalwell Gets Sworn In to Congress

Dublin's own Eric Swalwell, 31, was sworn in Thursday as part of the 113th Congress. The new congressman also cast his first vote after being sworn in.
