Pleasanton Homes For Sale: Least Expensive?

The S&P/Case Shiller composite index released today showed home prices nationally rose 1 percent in May on a seasonally adjusted basis. That was lower than the monthly 1.7 percent rise in April.

From year to year, prices nationally jumped 12.2 percent from May 2012, the largest annual hike since March 2006.

All 20 metropolitan areas in the composite index showed increases, led by the San Francisco Bay Area with a 24 percent yearly increase.

With all that in mind, we bring you some of the least expensive homes on the market.

This house, at 4043 Rennellwood Way, is priced at $525,000. It has 1,245 square feet and sits on 3,486 square feet. It has three bedrooms and two bath, was built in 1976.
