2 Bedroom:  $1,805
3 Bedroom:  $2,535

An example on the higher-priced side is a home at 2630 Curry St. The 2,014-square-foot residence is listed as renting for $3,250 a month.

Rachael Hand, a broker associate with Coldwell Banker, said rents are on the rise in part because people who have gone through short sales and foreclosures are renting because they cannot currently qualify for a home loan.
