BLOG: Esteller Martial Arts S.A.F.E Tip #1

Let me keep you and your family S.A.F.E and Healthy.

Aloooooooha!!!

Hi everyone! I would like to say how thrilled I am to be here on P-Patch, and to think, two weeks ago I didn’t know it existed!

It has been a whirlwind week getting acquainted with the Patch. I was lucky/blessed enough to . I say lucky because to be honest ANY of the schools on the list could have won.

I fought hard to win (I like to win) :-)

That being said, This blog will be dedicated to keeping you and your family S.A.F.E. and healthy. I will be sharing tips for personal, home, and work place safety, as well as nutrition and health.

My shared tips come from a variety of experiences, first by being a student of the martial arts for 43 years, which has included training with some of the military and law enforcement's top defensive tactics instructors.

Second, also within the realm of the martial arts, I will share information on the healing/health arts of Chi Gung and Restorative Massage.

I am a certified personal trainer, as well as a security consultant for some of the leading companies IE: ADT, Protection One, Brinks.

How the heck did I acquire all this knowledge?

I am ALWAYS a student, I strive to learn ANYTHING I can to help keep my students S.A.F.E. and healthy.

And I’m OLD!!! Hahahaha

Mama always said “You don’t get to be old by being a fool.”

S.A.F.E Tip #1… Drum Roll Please!!!!!!!!   S.A.F.E. Room

A very inexpensive way to add a SAFE room to your home is to upgrade your master bedroom bath door to a fire-rated door, and install a dead bolt. This will give you time to escape through a window, or remain safe behind an impenetrable door,

Have a contingency family escape plan in place; having a landline/cell phone there can also be a plus.
