$270,000 Collected for the Pleasanton Partners in Education Giving Fund

The Giving Fund has collected over $270,000 to date and is accepting donations through the end of March 2013.

  • $159,023 Elementary School Level
  • $ 42,633 Middle School Level
  • $ 60,146 High School Level
  • $ 9,010 Other Level
  • $270,812 TOTAL

GIVING FUND GOALS for 2013 – 2014

ELEMENTARY – Suggested donation $350 / elementary school student

  • $138,000: Funds one Reading Specialist & one hour per day per school site Tech Specialist
  • $276,000: Funds all of the above PLUS 1 additional Reading Specialist (2 total) & 1 additional
  • $601,000: Funds all of the above PLUS funds CSR (Class Size Reduction) in 1st grade classes to 25:1 (currently at 30:1)
  • $1,000,000: Funds all of the above PLUS Elementary PE Specialists
  • $1,080,000: Funds all of the above PLUS Elementary Counseling

Any shortfall in achieving the next funding level will be divided on a per pupil basis across the nine elementary schools to be used at the site via principal and school site council discretion within the above program areas only.

MIDDLE – Suggested donation $200 / middle school student

  • Additional Class Sections
  • Counseling
  • Technology
  • Funds raised will be divided on a per pupil basis across the 3 middle schools to be used at the site via principal and school site council discretion within the above program areas only.

HIGH – Suggested donation $200 / high school student

  • Additional Class Sections (including ROP)
  • Counseling
  • Technology
  • Campus Supervision

Funds raised will be divided on a per pupil basis across the 3 high schools to be used at the site via principal and school site council discretion within the above program areas only.
