The Amador Valley High School band will head for Arizona on Dec. 26

From Ellen Pensky for Amador Valley High School:

The Amador Valley High School band (300 plus students and parent chaperones) will be loading buses at the high school parking lot on Wednesday, Dec. 26 at noon to head to Phoenix, Arizona.

We will be competing in the Fiesta Bowl parade on Saturday, Dec. 29 (televised locally but will be streaming from the website: fiestabands.com) and at the national band competition on Sunday, Dec. 30. Entering its 35th year, the Fiesta Bowl Band Championship is one of the longest running events in the Fiesta Bowl Festival of Events. Eight bands advance from the preliminaries to the evening finals where bands compete for the Grand Master's Trophy.
