Back to School: What Are You Looking Forward To On the First Day of School?

Pleasanton students tell us how they're getting ready for the coming school year.

Walk through registration, check. School supplies, check. Back-to-school clothes, check. 

Pleasanton students and their parents are checking off items on their to-do lists before school starts again tomorrow.

About 14,800 students are expected to return to local schools. Patch spoke with students who told us what they're looking forward to the most on the first day of school.

How are you preparing for the first day of school?

We're going back to school shopping right now. 

What makes going back to school special?

I'm looking forward to having classes with my friends. I'm also doing yearbook this year. 

What's going to be different this year?

We have a new principal.

What are you looking forward to on the first day of school?

I'm looking forward to seeing my new friends and making arts and crafts in the art room again.

How are you preparing for school?

I finished all of my summer homework. Getting supplies and getting a good night's sleep. 

What are you looking forward to this year?

Being a senior.
