Class of 2010: Village High Celebrates Seniors

Village High School students officially graduated on June 9.

Friends and family members packed Amador Theater on June 9 to celebrate the graduation of 46 Village High School seniors.

The ceremony was filled with music and memorable speeches.

Several students thanked Village staff and teachers. Luis Mera and Espereanza Vazquez made a speech to show appreciation to family members and parents for their support. Josh Belmer, Da'Ney Roberts, Matt Donlon, Andrew Knell and Brad Soria performed a rendition of "Lean on Me."

Lee Zachariades, a teacher at Village, also congratulated a few of the students for completing hundreds of community service hours. 

At the end of the ceremony, the graduates filed out of the theater to "Build Me Up Buttercup."
