Traffic will be diverted away from Cameron Avenue as storm drain, water lines, and other underground utilities are installed requiring a restriction of street use to Cameron Avenue residents only for access to their homes.

The work will conclude with new curbs and paving of the new street section.

Parents of the surrounding neighborhood are advised to drop off and pick up children from Mohr Elementary School at 3300 Dennis Drive using Stoneridge Drive rather than Martin Avenue, due to construction and equipment delays.

Ponderosa Homes is working with the City staff to install a temporary gravel base walking path along Cameron Avenue for use by parents and children as well as the public.

Once it is safe to do, all shall be able to gain access to the Martin Avenue walking trail. The public will be notified once the path is available for use.

Ponderosa Homes has reached out ans expressed their appreciation to the public's cooperation during the construction period.

They enourage parents to warn children to avoid the construction area if they are not supervised by an adult.
