Lecture: Disneyland, the Beginning"
The Pleasanton Senior Center celebrates Older Americans Month in the month of May with a series of events under the theme of The Past Times.
A special program of free events has been planned during the week of May 9 that is open to the public. These include:
Monday, May 9
10:00 a.m. Free lecture by The Museum on Main on "The History of Pleasanton"
11:00 a.m. Classic Car Show in the parking lot of the Pleasanton Senior Center, hosted by P-Town Push Rods
Tuesday, May 10
10:00 a.m. Mini-Photo Album Workshop (pre-registration required)
1:00 p.m. Lecture by Ron Kaufman on "Disneyland, the Beginning"
Wednesday, May 11
1:30 p.m. Afternoon Dance (Dancing Through the Decades) with DJ Colin Dickie
A barbecue lunch will also be offered on May 9 and May 11 through the SPECTRUM lunch program at the affordable fee of $3.25 for seniors and $4.75 for adults. Please call 925-931-5385 to pre-register for the barbecue lunch by May 6.
