Community members are cordially invited to THREE WEDDINGS AND A RECEPTION, an interfaith learning event being planned by Interfaith Interconnect on June 10, 2012, at the Veterans Memorial Building 522 South L Street, Livermore, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

One couple each from the Protestant, Reform Jewish and Muslim faiths will have a mock wedding, performed by real clergy. Learn about the rituals, vows, customs, and their meanings.   Visit with people of other faiths and sample foods from different cultures.

There is no admission fee, but a donation of $5.00 per person/$10.00 per family or a platter of VEGETARIAN  wedding reception food (appetizers or sweets) to share will help defray expenses.  Please dress appropriately for a festive event.

Kindly sign up by June 1 at http://threeweddings.eventbrite.com

Questions can be sent to Interfaith Interconnect, the sponsoring group composed of clergy and lay people from Livermore, Pleasanton, and Dublin at interfaith.interconnect@gmail.com.

Many thanks to Police/Animal Services. Next order of business is to educate residents not to allowRead More ducks to nest on their property that is not adjacent to natural waterways or canals - it may seem cute, but it's cruel when the mama duck loses babies to cats and storm drains.
