'Great California ShakeOut' Happening in Pleasanton Schools

The day after the anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake, earthquake drills will be happening in schools all over California today.

The Pleasanton School District will be participating in the annual "Great California ShakeOut" earthquake drill. All of the schools in the district are participating in an effort to be better prepared in case of a major earthquake.

According to the website, "millions of participants will 'drop, cover and hold' at 10:18 a.m. today.
