Pleasanton Partnerships in Education Foundation and Club Sport are teaming up to put put together the inaugural Pleasanton Run for Education on April 14.
The event will feature three different races, the half-marathon, the 5K and the Kid's Challenge, which will be a sprint through the Alameda County Fairgrounds.
All the proceeds from the race will go to Pleasanton Partnerships in Education, a foundation that supports schools in the Pleasanton Unified School District.
The races will begin at the Alameda County Fairgrounds, with the half marathon starting at 7:30 a.m., the the 5K starting at 7:45 a.m. and the Kids Challege starting at 9 a.m.

On the Pleasanton Run for Education website, it says the route will showcase downtown Pleasanton, schools, parks and neighborhoods.
Winners will recieve trophies and the top 3 in the different age groups will be given medals.
