New School Year, New Vice Principal at Foothill High School

The Pleasanton Unified School District announces Leslie Heller as the new Vice Principal for Foothill High School.

Leslie Heller from has been selected as the successful candidate to join the admin team at .  Leslie has been a teacher at Amador for the past 14 years. She has been a vital school leader of the English Department as Department Chair, teaching all four levels of English.

At Amador, she has served as the Every Fifteen Minutes coordinator, a WASC
focus group leader, and as a leader of the site Equity Team. In addition
to her work in the classroom, Leslie has worked as a Vice Principal for
our district's summer school program for grades 7-12, an All-District
Writing Committee member, and member of the district Equity Committee.

Prior to coming to Pleasanton, she was employed at River City High School
in West Sacramento for four years teaching English, remedial reading, and
ESL classes. There she also coached swimming, was an interim High School
Vice Principal, and developed and led a successful high school summer
school program.
